And what a great time we had!! The people in attendance were hungry for this "Introductory to Bushcraft Class" and we had an awesome time with them.

Some had never had any Bushcraft experience before.. while some others had quite a bit of knowledge already. But everyone.. myself included.. learned many things during the 3 day camp. We studied such things as Firemaking, Shelter Building, Food and Water Procurement, Building Ekits, Cordage making and usage, Awareness and Camouflage and much more.

The weather was beautiful, although quite cold at night.. dropping down into the high teens and low 20's. But the skies were beautiful and made it worth getting up to tend to the fire. You could just see YHWH's Mighty Hand in creation as you gazed off into the universe.

Pictures of our escapades can be seen at:

Winter Camp

Thank you so much Gerald and Bonnie for hosting this event.. and for taking such great care of everyone while we were there! Thanks also to Gerald, Bonnie, Bro Ya'acov, Ryan, and Berta for being such hungry students.. you guys are wonderful.

A special thanks to my precious Wife, Tam, for keeping things running smoothly and for taking all of the class pictures, and to my Daughters Heather, Rachy, and Becka.. who were Daddy's "Helpers" throughout the camp.

This Course was such a success that we are hoping to have an Advanced Class in the same area in the early summer. Please let us know if you wish to attend so that arrangements can be made!

David

Grandparents

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 296px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KUcCEQYGagM/SSY4MjKujUI/AAAAAAAAABM/Ipa8RA3sy_c/s320/now+I+lay+me.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270962202133564738" />

Our son, Robert, and his girlfriend told us that they were expecting their child... our 1st Grandchild about 4 months ago. Wow.. it seems like just yesterday when our son came in beaming from ear to ear and told us. They were about 5 weeks along at that time.

Many plans were made.. What to get.. things to prepare for.. but there wasn't really a rush... the baby wasn't due until April 2009. But you know how short that time can be when there are so many things to do. So preparations began... slowly but surely. Until.....

Last week we got a phone call from our son that something wasn't right. Tammy was in the hospital bleeding. They kept her for 2 days and then allowed her to go home.. but under strict bedrest. Yesterday.. a day after being released she began bleeding again and went back to the hospital. She was admitted in the afternoon...

Last night she called our son and said that he needed to get to the hospital right away. He travelled the 50 miles quickly but safely. We were in constant contact by phone until he got there. We waited to hear what was going on... About 9PM he called us visibly upset. He said that Tammy was going to deliver any time and that they didn't expect him to live.. He was only 20 weeks old and his lungs hadn't developed yet. There was nothing to do but wait now.

Tam asked Rob if he wanted us to come to the hospital to be with him and Tammy for moral support. You know.. no matter how old your children get.. they are always your "little boy or girl," and you want (maybe need) to be there for them. And we wanted to be with our son during this time... there was an emptiness and uneasiness just sitting at home by the phone. Rob said "Yes.. I would like you to be here... please hurry!"

We got all the children here to pray.. and we got in the van and headed for Srpingfield. The trip is about 50 miles... but it felt more like 500! We rode quietly.. hardly speaking at all. Suddenly the phone rang.. bringing our hearts into our throats... It was Rob.. telling us that at 9:16 PM Jayden Cole was brought into this world! With mixed emotions Tam told Rob that we were only about 20 more minutes away... We each looked out our windows and wept quietly.

We got to the hospital at 10PM.. and after a few minutes found our way to the room where they were. They were just finishing cleaning up Tammy.. and Rob was in the adjacent room with Jayden. We walked over.. to see him beaming. "Wanna see my son!" he exclaimed as we walked into the room! It was all that I could do not to cry... but you know.. sometimes dads just have to be strong for their children (Not that crying is a weakness). I was so proud of him.. for I saw in him at that moment courage, determination, joy, and sadness all wrapped up into one.

Tam, Rob, Tammy, and I all took turns holding this precious little life in our hands. I watched Tam as she pulled him close to her and gently kissed his forehead. As I watched I remember thinking how tiny and fragile he was.. and I flashed back to when our children were born.. and watching as she tenderly cuddled them. For a moment I was lost in time.. and then suddenly back in the hospital.

We spent the next 2 hours talking.. taking pictures, doting over this new life.. and how precious he was. I was so amazed at the tenderness and love in my son's demeanor with his new child. I just watched in awe. The nurses were also very kind.. taking the time to explain everything.. and letting us know how Jayden was doing. His heart rate had gone from 160 at 9:17 to 40 at 11:30. Tam & I decided that we would leave at about 12 PM. We had tried to be an encouragement and comfort to Rob and Tammy.. and there was really nothing more that we could do.

We hugged each other... Tam took Jayden in her arms one more time... Just before we walked out the door.. I took his little hand with my finger.. I could almost feel him squeeze it ever so gently. I fought to hold the tears back...

The ride home was somber... Thinking about this little life that would only be with us a short time longer. Praying for our son.. for strength and courage. Only YHWH could comfort him now.. We arrived home safely at 1 AM... And shortly thereafter Rob called saying that Jayden has passed away right after we left the hospital.

Sometimes.. I am amazed at the wisdom of YHWH. I don't pretend to know everything.. or why things happen the way that they do. But in a life so fragile.. so short.. Jayden had touched so many people... Without ever saying a word. There were so many who came together to pray for our son and Tammy over the past week.. and to them we are grateful. There was family and friends... strengthening of relationships. A new cloesness with many people that had drifted apart in ways. As Tam sent our her devotion tonight.. many more were touched.. and perhaps some of you are right now.. reading this. Truly "YHWH's ways are higher than ours..."

We can't pretend to understand all of this.. and yes.. there is pain. But somehow.. in the midst of it all, there is also hope.. and love.. and eventually joy will prevail. When I think back over the years with our children.. there has been joy.. there has been sorrow. And now in my life as a "Grandpa" I have experienced the same feelings in just a few hours.. I will hold on to the joys.. just as I held on to that tiny hand... You never knew us Jayden (or maybe somehow you did!)... but in 3 short hours.. you made a difference in so many lives! Thank you little guy..

I love you! We all do!

Grandpa David

Connections

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_KUcCEQYGagM/Riq8OAdLDQI/AAAAAAAAAA0/LCsXJA1HY6Q/s320/girls+057.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5056060480503352578" />

A funny thing happened the other day. Three of my four older children were out shopping and working. Cody ( Happy Birthday son! ) who is in Calgary, Alberta, Canada decided that he would stop by "Subway" to eat lunch. Rob, who lives here in Mansfield with us, was on his break from work and decided to call his brother to tell him "Happy Birthday". He asked Cody to hang on a minute while he ordered his lunch from the Subway here. No this wasn't planned, just happened. After they both ordered Rob asked Cody what he had ordered for lunch... His answer, "A Steak and Cheese Sub". Rob said ... "That's funny, I ordered the exact same thing!" When Rob came home from work he was anxious to share the story with Tam. Mandy had just walked in the door from a trip to Ava this afternoon and heard. Her response was, "GET OUT! I was at subway at the exact same time and ordered a Steak and Cheese sub too!"

Well that is quite a coincidence some people would say. But I think that there was a connection between them all at the moment this happened. The Scripture tells us that it is "Good and Pleasant for brethren to dwell together in unity and love. We are also told in Ephesians that YHWH desires for the body to "Come to the unity of Faith..." But we are so concerned with Doctrine, that we don't understand the unity part. We are so proud that we have found some new nugget of truth that we push others away and condemn them for not seeing what we see! How shameful for people who call themselves a body...

Isn't it time that we begin to walk in unity? Isn't it time that we start to love one another? Each person is on a path.. and we are warned not to judge another in their walk! Perhaps if we stop with the pettiness, pride, and ego trips we would come to a closer Unity of Faith as YHWH's Body. This is what HE desires... isn't it? Maybe it is time that we order the same "spiritual food" and stop fighting amongst ourselves....

Walk in Truth...
David

Ploughing the Fallow Ground

I had the pleasure today to suprise my Precious Proverbs 32 woman. She decided that she was going to go shopping with our sister this morning and leave me with our two little angels. Her goal was to do the weekly shopping, and then come home and till the ground where our watermelon and squash is to be planted this year.

Well I thought it would be a lovely thing to surprise her and do the roto-tilling for her. I actually enjoy running the tiller, although, when done, it makes me feel like I just got finished a 3 hour exercise session with a jackhammer... LOL! As I went over and over the dry, sodden earth, it began to break up into smaller and smaller chunks. The rocks began to rise up to the top and were then easily removed. As I went over the land a 2nd and 3rd time I could begin to smell the wonderful aroma of fresh soil rise up and hit my nose. How wonderful it is to work in the dirt as YHWH has ordained for our lives.

Sitting by the fire this evening, I thought about the Scripture in Jeremiah 4, speaking of "Breaking up the fallow ground in our lives..."

IF YOU will return, O Israel, says YHWH, if you will return to Me, and if you will put away your abominable false elohim out of My sight and not stray or waver, And if you swear, As YHWH lives, in truth, in judgment and justice, and in righteousness (uprightness in every area and relation), then the nations will bless themselves in Him and in Him will they glory. For thus says YHWH to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem: Break up your ground left uncultivated for a season, so that you may not sow among thorns...
Jer 4:1-3

Do you have need in your life to do a little "tilling?" Are there areas of your heart that are still hard, unable to bear the seed that YHWH is planting? YHWSHUA told the parable of the sower... giving different types of soil that will and will not produce good fruit. As you read HIS words.. ask yourself what kind of ground you are today....

A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of YHWH: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of YHWH. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
(Luk 8:5-15)

If you find that there are some "rocks, some vines, some thorns still in the garden of your heart, then do something about it! Isn't it time that we begin to produce 100 fold for YHWH and HIS Kingdom? Go back, do your first works! Break up the fallow ground, that you may bear much fruit for HIM!

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
(Joh 15:2-7)

HalleluYAH!

- David

Are You In The Now?

No, I didn't ask if you are "in the know". I asked if you are "In the Now." Are you living each moment of your life to the fullest? Or are you dwelling on yesterday or tomorrow?

So often we think about what has happened in the past. We allow our minds to dwell on things that are impossible to change. Why keep rehashing over and over what has happened to you yesterday? Or the day before? Or last week? Or if you are like some... years ago? Isn't it time to let these things go from your mind? Learn from them.. and then allow them to flow away with the currents of time.

On the other hand.. there are many who constantly fret about the future. What will happen (or maybe won't)? When will it happen? How is it going to occur? And when we have dwelt on it long enough we start asking why these things always happen to us! And it hasn't even happened yet. When will we learn friends? Why do we allow our time to be taken up with such frivilous thoughts?

Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If YHWH will, we shall live, and do this, or that. (Jas 4:13-15)

You can't worry constantly about things that might happen without those thoughts affecting you! YHWSHUA said that what you continually think on and speak out of your mouth WILL come to pass (Mk 11:22-24). Are you truly desiring for all of these things (that you allow to keep your mind occupied daily) to come to pass? Satan will continue to put thoughts into you heart to keep you occupied so that you can never attain what YHWH has called you to...

YHWSHUA reminded us in Matthew 6:

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if YHWH so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of YHWH, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Mat 6:25-34)

No, we can't keep reminiscing the past over and over, nor can we worry about the future! Instead we need to focus on today! This very moment. We call it "Living in the Now." Life is exciting, but unless we are consumed with what is happening right now, we are missing out on joy that should be filling our heart! Living in the past.. or the future robs us of this very moment. And in all honesty... we don't have anything promised to us more than this moment in time!

Today is a wonderful day! Live today... not in the yesterdays.. nor the tomorrows... This is your day of deliverance my friend! The day of salvation in every realm of your life... Spiritual, Emotional, in your Health... in your Finances! What is it you need?

For he is our Elohim; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice... (Psa 95:7)

(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2Co 6:2)

Reach out to YHWH Today! Live in the blessings that HE gives you this very moment! Make 'Right Now' the very best moment of your life!

And Have a Great Day....
David

Rachy's Prayer

What a beautiful week we have had here. And it is capped off with 56 degrees today! Wooo Wooo... Spring is around the corner... at least it feels that way. But they tell us (I'm not sure who they is... but this is what they say)that we are in for another cold spell. Well at least the nights are gonna be pretty cold. 30's - 40's throughout the day but only in the teens - 20's at night - that is pretty chilly!

As I was thinking about the weather turning it just happened that Tam sent out, in her daily devotional, a poem that I had written a few months ago. We were about to be inundated with a huge storm, and the addition still wasn't totally 'in the dry' yet. On top of it all, there were going to be high winds accompying this storm. We don't much care for strong winds after the tornado we had last summer!

Well, I was showing Rachy (Our 4 year Old Daughter) the storm on the screen of my computer... and she said "Daddy, This storm isn't going to hit us at all." Well she just stopped and prayed, and thanked YHWH for keeping us safe. I monitored the storm until the wee hours in the morning and sat in amazement as I saw the tempest simply split in half.. going to our north and to our south... Totally around us. Well I sat here at my desk and wrote a poem about it.. with tears streaming down my cheeks. I thought that I would share it with those of you not on Tam's Email list...

Last night as my baby girl lay down to sleep
She prayed to YHWH our home safe to keep
"Please don't allow this storm that's outside
Come near us, please don't let it with us collide."

"I know precious Daddy that you'll hear my prayer
With Your mighty power this big rain you'll steer
Away from the animals, our home, and our land
You'll keep it away with the strength of Your Hand!"

Well I'm here to share my little one's plea
For YHWH does hear these wee prayers you see
YAH turned the rains North and then East to confound
Put HIS hand in the midst as it parted around.

A channel in the tempest a bit to the South
Opened wide like that prayer filled my little girl's mouth
The storms all about us, they just let us be
For YAH parted them as HE parted the Sea.

You don't have to be Moses to have YAH hear your prayer
You don't have to worry, you don't have to care...
Just ask of Your Father, HE'll not allow harms
Simply ask like a child and then sleep in HIS arms!

Be Blessed and Stay Above The Storms of Life!

- David

Cabin Fever

Well we have been basically "inside" now for a week. It's been very cold here day and night... Not really the weather to be outside 'playing'. Those of you who have children ranging from 2-22 might understand what I am talking about. Now understand.. we have very well behaved children for the most part, but they are still children... growing in YHWH!

Granted we have a home that is about 1750 Ft Sq... but with 12 people in and out all day... that honestly isn't alot of room. And the little ones are very healthy children... children who enjoy the fine art of running, jumping, spinning, twirling, flipping, rolling, and basically having fun!! Well now, that is all well and fine outside (read NOT THROUGH a 14 foot trailer)! So it is over couches, under tables, around the woodburning stove, down the hallway, and back through the same obstacle course all through the day... LOL! Throw in a few additional jumps from the upper level living room to the lower level living room (that basically sound to mom and dad in the office like miniature atomic blasts going off somewhere closeby) and you can somewhat get the picture.

Then there's the animals... and the wood piled up in the living room to feed an ever hungry stove... The laundry in the hallway that we dry each night to help keep the back end (of the house I mean) warm.. Need I go on? In the old days.. they had a term for the long, cold winters (ok.. so 2 weeks doesn't seem too long to you.. but this is Missouri.. not Alaska!)........... "Cabin Fever!"

Now there is a lesson in this so please bear with me. Maybe you have felt Spiritually something similar to what we are going through physically. Perhaps in your life there are things that are causing you to feel that 'need' to "get out". Not out of this world, of course, but just take a short vacation from all of the confusion that seems to be going on inside of you. In Matt 11:28 YHWSHUA said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." My friend, that rest is available to you today. Get alone with HIM for awhile, talk to HIM, let HIM know how you are feeling. HE has all the answers that you need in every area of your life. Won't you run through the obstacle course in your life and into HIS loving arms today?

- David

Are You Having Fun Yet?

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_KUcCEQYGagM/RaktCoi0KvI/AAAAAAAAAAk/SJUdMsDjcgI/s320/ice+006.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5019592782947560178" />

We have been inundated with rain the past few days.... Mostly it held off yesterday, but last night through this morning we got drenched pretty good. And not just plain, old, ordinary rain.. No Way! This was the immobilizing, insensitive, shivering, icy, I'm gonna chill you to the bone rain. The temperature today is only going a few degrees above freezing. Much of the rain is forming ice as it hits the surface.

So we did what any sane person (although some say that is questionable in our case) would do... we tried to stay dry and warm. Actually there is a huge praise report in all of this. Most of the leaks in the addition have stopped! HalleluYAH! But this AM Tam wanted to take some pictures of the ice in the trees. So we "Braved" the weather (still raining by the way) and went out.

Well as we sat by the fire that my son so kindly made (of course he didn't make the fire on Shabbat - He took some coals from the inside fire and put out in the firepit) and watched the beauty all around, we saw the ducks coming up over the hill by the pond. HUH?? They were actually ENJOYING this weather! No kidding! Now I know what it means to 'let problems run off of you like the water runs off of a ducks back.' Tam and I looked at each other in disbelief. Here we are.. survival teachers.. and we were complaining while the ducks were having fun, romping, and playing in the puddles!

How about you my friend? Do you complain about things beyond your contol? Perhaps we either need to change our perception, or our attitudes. Enjoy Life! Have Fun while you're here... I don't mean 'sinful fun'... rather enjoy each day and all that you have been given. Be grateful for the blessings that YHWH has given you. Relax.. Delight in HIM... Savor the moment! After all, "This is the day YHWH has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it."!

As I write this the rain has stopped for the moment. Maybe we need to get out there and roll in the frozen mud for a few minutes? Nahhh... I'll stay in here for now... I am thankful for the warmth too!!

- David

Leak...Leak...Leak

Well here we are in the last day of December 2006! I am enjoying this winter in Missouri. It hasn't been too cold, not much snow, but there is one little complaint I would like to file a greivance about! The rain and wind are still rather strong here on the top of the hill.

Now normally I suppose that wouldn't be a problem, but our house is kind of out in the open still, and exposed to these elements of nature! We have a nice trailer to which we built two adjacent additions. Well, when you adjoin a building to another building I have found that you get leaks where the joints are. We have tried in vain to fix these perpetually dripping areas. In fact, my wife thinks that the 8 or 9 layers of shingling, caulking, putty, caulking, roof tar, more caulking, and spray expansion foam that I have used is a bit overkill! "Oh Yeah?" I wittily rebutted. (I have learned that one from reading web page after web page on quick retorts). My next layer is going to be another roof I think!! I will not be defeated!!!

How about in your life... do you have some "Spiritual leaks" that need to be tended to? Have you been superficially covering up problems with "cosmetic repairs"? Perhaps it's time to turn them over to YHWH! HE promises that HE will take care of your every need... Trust HIM! Stop relying on the arm of the flesh and allow HIM the possibility to do a miracle on your behalf. YHWH knows the problems... and HE knows exactly where the caulking needs to be to alieviate the cracks in your life!

For now, when it rains we will just keep the towels in place and soak up the water that uninvitedly intrudes into our premises. But as all good things do at times... things have perhaps gotten out of hand. Not that I am complaining, mind you. I love animals... but 3 dogs, a cat, a squirrel, a pet mouse, 2 sheep, 2 goats, 9 ducks, 4 or 5 pigeons, a covey of quail, and 26 chickens of the assorted variety might be pushing the envelope a little!

Well, not to be a kill joy I try to help out with the animals when I can. I yell at the dogs, kick the cat once in awhile, throw fishing lures out for the ducks to retreive (actually it was just a plastic casting sinker.... but they did try to eat it), chase the sheep back up into the field, and various other chores that continually make me look like I know what I'm doing!

Today, I was not to be outdone even by the famed "Pied Piper of Hamilton"! I decided to toss out a bit of grain to the chickens. Now being lazy... err I mean learning how to "conserve energy",,, I didn't want to walk all the way to the barn. I mean, it's probably 50 foot all the way up there! And on top of that it was raining.... well actually it was during a lull in the sprinkles that we had today. Anyway... to make a long story short... what do you think happens when you toss a few little pieces of cracked wheat (well maybe 3 cups) out on the ground with 26 chickens around? Well it's easier to show you than to try to explain the pradicament that I got myself into...

Hope that you had as great a day as I did! :)

- David

A Sad Day

Our precious little Abby struggled for 5 months, but couldn't gain enough strength to stand on her own. You should have seen Tam with her... she was like one of the "kids" if you pardon the pun. She is the type that can go out into the wild and sit down for a few minutes to suddenly find herself surrounded by all kinds of wildlife. She has mice crawl onto her lap, birds land on her shoulder etc. A girl after her "Wilderness Awareness Teacher" Daddy's heart.

Well she decided that she wanted to adopt a lil lamb that was born with a selenium deficiency. This crippling disease produces very fragile, almost arthritic bone structures in the animal. Mandy would diligently every day massage it's legs, and try to teach it to walk. It followed her around like she was the lamb's mama. I think I could even hear it say "Mama" sometimes as the lamb looked up into Mandy's eyes as she would hold it close to her.

A few days ago, the deficiency caused one of the rear legs to break. Mandy held on to all hope, but today she decided that the suffering of the lamb was too much for the little thing to take anymore. She made the hard decision to put the lamb down to save it from suffering and pain, even at the expense of her own pain. What a mature decision she made...and I as her daddy am so very proud of her. I love you my little girl.

As I gazed at the lamb looking up into my eyes in the last minutes...filled with trust and love, I thought about another lamb. "YHWSHUA, the Lamb of the World who was slain to take away our sins." How much the Father YHWH must have loved HIM and how much pain must HE have felt at HIS death as YHWSHUA looked into HIS eyes... filled with trust and love. But the sadness wasn't because HE died, for YHWH knew that HE would rise again on the 3rd day. Why, then would YHWH have been so sad, so grieved? I believe it was because the great price that was paid for our sins... has been rejected by so many. And above that, those that "say" that they receive the gift, Myself included, have responded with such little love and devotion in return. We are rather flippant about the gift that YHWH gave us. Saying that we love HIM, but continuing to walk in our own ways.

Today, perhaps it is time for us to refresh and renew our commitment to YHWH. To stop living so much for ourselves and to begin to bring joy to HIS heart. How can we do that? Well I think that our Lil Lamb... and the Lamb of the World taught me a lesson that might be valuable to each of us. The Father had to watch HIS Son... looking up at HIM as HE died. I believe that the greatest joy we could bring YHWH today, and every day, would be to look up into HIS eyes ourselves...with Love and Trust in HIM... no longer to die, but with gratitude and thanksgiving that we have eternal life!

"YHWSHUA said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" We have been having regular services on Paltalk every Erev Shabbat as well as on Shabbat Day. We would love for you to join us if you get the possibility. YHWH has been moving powerfully with testimonies coming from many as to the timeliness of each weeks Word! halleluYAH!!!

Last month was also designated as Winter Survival Camp Time! So for 3 weeks we were in almost constant preparation for the camp. Then the last week of the month we had 9 people who braved the elements... the 25 degree nights...and just simply had a GREAT time! We learned many skills such as Shelters, Weapons, Navigation by the sun and the stars, Firemaking, Knife Usage, Snares and Traps, Cordage making and care, and many other useful skills.

I am really impressed with the caliper of people that attended the camp this winter. They were totally involved and were VERY adept at quickly picking up the techniques. Each one took home with them many useful skills, better wilderness awareness, and wonderful memories. I thank you each and every one for being such a great group to work with!

Even more importantly was Tam who worked tirelessly behind the scenes! She was taking care of the "ranch", tending to the young ones by herself, and on top of that still found time to make us some of the most tasty meals that I have ever had! Thank you so very much my Precious Proverbs 32 Wife! I love you! You are truly YHWH's desire.

We will be setting up this years schedule within the next few weeks. If any of you have a special request for a time or specialty camp subject let me know within the next week or so. My email is soarntam@direcway.com. We can adapt our schedules and camp criterion to meet your needs.

YHWH has been teaching us many lessons and truths throughout the past month and especially during the camp. One night we sat under the stars reading Psalm 8 and thinking upon the meaning for our lives! Wow...there was quite a bit of deep revelation. We even had a message in relation called "Reflection of Perfection." How about you, my friend? Are you reflecting YHWH's Nature in your life? If not, why not? What is stopping you from living this life fully to the glory of YHWH our Master? Seek HIM, allow HIM to dwell in you and use you fully for HIS purposes and glory! HalleluYAH!

Shalom V' Ahavah...
David

In The Now

They tell me it's my birthday. Quite a few thoughts have come to my mind today. Some needed to be cast down as per 2 Cor 10:1-6:

Failure, guilt, defeat, sense of waste, "what if I had done things differently?"

But you know what? We can't change the past. There are some things that I would have done differently if I had the possibility. And there are many things that I would have done exactly the same. The bottom line, however, is that I can't change what has been done. In the words of the old cliche, "It is water under the bridge."

Then a saying came across my mind, one I am sure most of you have heard at one time or another. "This is the first day of the rest of my life!" Wow, what a revelation. If you think about it, this day is all that we have, isn't it? We should make the best of each day, my friend.

We need to live "In The Now," in the present moment. Ask yourself today, "What is the most important thing that I could (should) be doing right now?" Then DO IT!! Let's not waste anymore time worrying about the past, live for YHWH today.

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto YHWH. And the peace of YHWH, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Ha Moshiach YHWSHUA. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and YHWH Shalom shall be with you." (Mmmmmmmm)

This morning we decided to "Deep Pit" a turkey. Now I can hear some of you saying, "Oh boy...here we go... They keep Thanksgiving..." WE SURE DO! Everyday is Thanksgiving for us. We are so grateful for all that YHWH has given us that we simply overflow with thanks to HIM!

"Rejoice evermore...Pray without ceasing...In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of YHWH in the Messiah YHWSHUA concerning you." (1Th 5:16-18)

But the reason that we got the turkey this week was simply economics. The price had gone so low on them that we simply figured it would be a great time to "Deep Pit". Now for those of you not familiar with this term I will explain. You simply dig a hole in the ground, Line it with stones (Not from a stream or they will explode), and build a large fire in the pit. Once it has burned down to coals...you take out the coals, put in your pot with whatever you are cooking (with a good lid of course), put the coals back on it...and cover with "D.I.R.T." (Tam will understand this...but that's a different message).

Now you LEAVE IT ALONE! Some people would have the tendency to go out there, and dig it up in an hour or two to see how it's doing. But that would allow the heat to escape and you would have to finish whatever you were cooking in the stove. You need to leave it in the ground for 6 hours or so, and simply have Faith that the stones and coals will do their job.

It's much like a farmer. He goes out and tills the soil, and then furrows the ground, and plants his seed. Day #1 goes by...Day #2...and then the farmer goes out to see how the work is progressing. Well, low and behold...he doesn't see anything. He scratches his head and goes back and says to his wife, "I don't think my seed must be any good." He goes out to the field and digs up the seed to see if something is happening and destroys the work. Will anything EVER grow like that? No, of course not!

But it is that way many times in our Spiritual Life. Our seed is the words that we speak (Some of you are planting the wrong seed to begin with, but again, that is another message... Plant the Word of YHWH in your situation!) Then we go out and dig up our seed if we don't see something happening in just a few minutes. "This confession thing doesn't work," you start complaining. Well of course not...you dug up your seed! "Hold fast to your confession!"

Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for HE is faithful that promised..."

2Ti 1:13 "Hold fast the form of sound words..."

Don't allow circumstances to the contrary dissuade you from your word. Keep your mindset positive and in line with YHWH! The seed WILL bring forth fruit. It might take a little time, but what is time anyway? We have all of eternity to live...why worry about a few days, months, or years? Live in the now. Rejoice over the promises that are coming your way! Give Thanks!!! That's what this day...and EVERY Day is all about anyway...isn't it?

PS - UPDATE 4:30 PM - MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmm is that turkey tasty! The deep pit worked perfectly! Thank you YHWH!

Shalom V'Ahavah...
David

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://yhwhswordoffaith.blogspot.com/2005/11/deep-pit-mmmmmmmm.html' title='Deep Pit! It was an experience we won't forget in the near future! We were blessed a few weeks back when our new neighbor told us he had some chickens that needed to be butchered. He asked if we would do the butchering in exchange for 1/2 the chickens. Of COURSE we would love to do it, we told him! ROTFLOL!

Well today was the big day. We got over there...set up the block...and made the fire to boil some water (I thought you only did that when your wife is pregnant, but when you pluck chickens you do it also. Once everything was set up we went into the roost to gather up one after another rooster. You know, I think they knew what was coming. I mean, not one of them came running over saying "me next"! But we ran...chased...and finally caught them.

Out to the block...then hung upside down for the blood to drain...then to the pot of hot water and to the table to pluck. Well our girls looked like they had been tarred and feathered by the time it was done. Tam was up to her elbows in "guts" (literally) and we were having fun! But as Tam has said to a few ... "We DID NOT have chicken tonight"!

As I sat by the block after killing the chickens I thought about all of the blood...and the temple...and YHWSHUA's sacrifice for us. I know "The Blood" isn't a popular subject, but it was necessary. And I am so grateful that HE shed HIS blood to atone for my sins. What about you friend? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? If not, you can be. HE so wants to cleanse you so that you and HE can have fellowship. Open your heart today!

My Apologies

Shalom!!!

I wanted to take a moment to apologize for not posting here as regularly as I would have liked to! With the move, and then the Feast of Tabernacles it got downright busy around here! But things have settled down and we have regrouped somewhat.

There are many things going on here at the present. We are gearing up for a "Winter Survival Camp" that we will be hosting in December. You can find information on the website:

http://www.waytruthlife.com/actsfellowship/

We are also planning to begin building our home in the upcoming few weeks! HalleluYAH! YHWH is so wonderful and so faithful to HIS people. As we work on the home I will be hoping to put up regular updates as well as some pictures of the process! That way you can take part with us. We only wish you were here to hammer and pour concrete!

Finally, I put up pictures of the Feast of Tabernacles 2005 on the website. GO to the homepage, click on "News" and then on "FOT 2005". We pulled into Ava, Missouri about 3 weeks ago. "What???" I can hear you saying now.... Why haven't you posted? Well let me start at the beginning.

We have a piece of land in Ava that is about 4 acres. It is outside of the town of Ava approximately 5 miles (Boonies basically). We tried to get phone connection, but they say that will take about 3 more weeks. We are so remote that we actually have to get in the van in order to make calls on the cell phone (We lose connection about 1/2 mile from the property!) So no Dial up (Perhaps a blessing! LOL!!!)

Ok...next we call a company about radio transmitted DSL. They came out and did a test only to find that we are too far down in the valley to have a signal to town. The phone company doesn't offer DSL by the way, so no DSL.

Being that cable doesn't run out here...no cable (although that would be nice to be running at 2000 MBPS and up). But that doesn't look like an option either. So what are we to do? Well, we looked UP! To YHWH...and to the sky. Satellite can be received anywhere they tell me. What they didn't mention was that you can't shoot a signal through the trees. So we cut...chopped...and finally cleared a path for the transmitter/receiver to hit the 47 degree satellite!!!

It is a nice connection, but our old router went on the blink on top of it all! LOL...when it rains it pours! Then I fried a mother board getting all of it in working order. Well, long story short - We are back up on direcway.com. And it is pretty fast - except when Rita was overhead.

We praise YHWH for all of HIS mercies and kindness to us. HE has met our needs in every way. Please continue to pray for us. Also a great big "Thank You" to Brian and Lisa for all of their kindness and helping us get settled in. They have aided us greatly and made the transition much easier for us! We love you guys!

We will be having online services along with the home fellowship each Shabbat. Please feel free to join us. We are on Paltalk in "YHWHs Word of Faith" under "Religion" each Shabbat at 2 PM Eastern Time. We will also be having Praise and Worship on Friday evenings at 8 EST. Come and join us. Until we speak to you in person...

Shalom and Ahavah...
David & Tam

One Last Post From Wilkes Barre

HalleluYAH!!! Tonight the electric and phone will be shut off, and tomorrow we will be on our way to Ava, Missouri. YHWH's desire we will be there in about 5 days. We plan to take a nice slow drive and see some of the country on our way out.

This Sabbath we are excited to be sharing the day with our precious Brother from Huntington, WV, AriYAH. Almost like a time of "New Beginnings." Oh how excited we are! Everyone is working together with eager anticipation for the move to Missouri.

Five years ago today was another time of "New Beginnings" for us as well. On Aug. 27th, 2000 Tam and I were married, and we all became a family. What a blessed 5 years it has been. We have faced many challenges, joys, and even some sorrows. But "together" we have been richly blessed by YHWH. Truly HE has given me a precious gift in Tam and our children.

Thank you my Prov 32 wife (No that isn't a mistake - she has FAR surpassed Prov 31) for all of the love, support, and the blessing that you have been to me and the children. May YHWH be Praised and may HE continue to move in all that we do... and in all that each of you do for the Kingdom!

Shalom V'Ahavah

Hurry Up & Wait!

Well, it looks like we are on the homestretch! HalleluYAH! We have had a week of waiting on the sale of the house for "technical reasons" that we are not really aware of at this time. We got a call last Wed from the closing agent that said "the buyer just isn't ready to sign yet." Well what could we do?

Our lives are alot the same in many different areas. We have things that "need" to be done yesterday... Things that we have been trusting YHWH for, but for whatever reason our lives seem to be "put on hold." You have probably felt like that from time to time in something or other. Well what do we do in times like that? There are quite a few options.

#1 - We can fret & frown, complain, moan and groan.... But this doesn't help matters. In fact, these attitudes tend to make things worse. They cause confusion, hurt, and chaos in our lives. Watch what words come out of your mouth in these times, for "Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it will eat the fruit thereof."

#2 - We can just "accept" whatever comes along as "YHWH's will." Perhaps this may seem to be the right answer, but in reality it is no better than the first "solution" above. We can know YHWH's will in every situation by the promises found HIS Word which HE has given us. So to just shrug it off and say, "It must be YHWH's will" is not profitable. In fact, this actually allows the wicked one areas to cause compromise in our lives.

#3 - The thing that would be best in these situations is to obey YHWH and HIS Word. Sometimes we just need to "wait" (serve in the Hebrew) with trust, knowing that YHWH is in control of every situation. True Faith is "Believing that HE IS, and that HE is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM." We need to, in these times, "Cast our cares on HIM, for HE cares for us." When we serve YHWH in Righteousness, and trust in HIM HE will bring all of our desires to pass.

Pro 16:1-9 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from YHWH. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but YHWH weigheth the spirits. Commit thy works unto YHWH, and thy thoughts shall be established. YHWH hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to YHWH: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of YHWH men depart from evil. When a man's ways please YHWH, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. A man's heart deviseth his way: but YHWH directeth his steps.

Psalm 130:5 I wait for YHWH, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.

Let's begin to wait on YHWH with patient endurance. Find out HIS will in the situation, and Trust HIM to bring it to pass. YHWH never fails! HalleluYAH!

Psa 27:14 - Wait on YHWH: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on YHWH.

Psa 37:23 - The steps of a good man are ordered by YHWH: and he delighteth in his way.

Baggage....

Well, the countdown is on for the big move to Ava. We have begun to pack all of the belongings that we have accumulated in four short years. You don't really realize how many "things" you have until you have to try to fit them all in 21 feet of moving van space! WOW! Where did it all come from? So we are trying to downsize as much as we can in order to make the move as smooth as possible! We are already at 125 banana boxes plus furniture.

You know, each of our lives are very similar. Over the past 10, 15, 20, or even more years we have accumulated alot of baggage...haven't we? Perhaps thoughts of the past, hurt, pain, and many other things are hiding in closets and hindering our walk with YHWH. Perhaps today, is a good time to begin to take inventory in our Spiritual Lives and see what impediments there are that hold us back from fulfilling the best that YHWH has in store for us. HE tells us to:

"Mat 11:28 -30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Why don't you stop right now, and look at your life. What anger, pain, and hurt can you get rid of? What burdens are there that YHWH can lighten? Ask HIM to take these things from you and to replace them with Shalom (Nothing Missing; Nothing Broken), with Love, and with Joy! YHWH has promised that our lives can be free of these hinderances, if we will trust HIM with the outcome. And then keep your hearts free from any encumberances by keeping your focus on YHWH...

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Phil 4:8)

Have a great time packing....
All Love and Shalom....
David

Visiting With "Dad"

What a blessing today to have my dad stop in for two days all the way from Florida! We had a great time today just being together and talking about all that is going on in this world around us. As I was sitting here going over the day in my mind I thought about an old story that I read many years ago. Maybe you have heard of it.

It tells about YHWH waiting for us in the den of our heart, as we go busily about our day. HE sits there early in the morning, waiting for our arrival, but we have far too much to accomplish today to stop and say hello. We see HIM sitting there through the cracked door but after rushing through breakfast and a quick shower we rush out the door without even saying "Good Morning".

After a long day we return home and quickly rush past the den on our way to cook dinner. Out of the corner of our eye we see YHWH still sitting there, waiting patiently for us. We hurriedly eat our meal and change clothes to get to the meeting that we are already 15 minutes late to. But driving down the road a thought enters our mind that we went right out the door again without even acknowledging our Precious Master waiting to spend some time with us.

We come home after 2 1/2 hours of the most boring meeting of our lives, and feel as though we have no energy left for anything. We try to quietly sneak past the door of the den so as not to be noticed, but we can see through the slight crack where the door is ajar a small candle lit on the table next to the chair where YHWH still sits... waiting. As we look closer on our way up the stairs we notice a tear in HIS eyes, wanting so much to just fellowship for awhile with HIS son/daughter.

This story brings somberness to my heart each time I think of it. How often do we get too busy doing all the things that we "need to do" in life that we forget to spend the time with YHWH that HE not only deserves, but so longingly desires to have with us? Are we so busy with the things of this life, even things of "The Kingdom", that we forget to include YHWH in our thoughts, plans, and lives? After all, we were created for one purpose.... HIS pleasure! Why not take some time right now to stop and just tell YHWH how much HE means to you, and thank HIM for a wonderful day!

Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O YHWH, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

PS - Thanks for being here today dad...We love you!

"Hooked on a Feeling"

As I was putting the baby to sleep an old song came on the radio called "Hooked on a Feeling." Perhaps those of you who are older will remember the song. I thought about how true that song is in many believer's lives nowadays. How many of us operate according to our feelings? The wicked one's job is to attack us in the physical realm, what we can see, what we can hear, what we feel. He continually tries to bombard our minds with situations and circumstances to keep us from operating in Faith in YHWH's Word.

2Co 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight...

We need to begin operating outside of the realm of the "natural" things that we can see, feel, hear, and touch. Faith operates in the Spiritual realm! "Without faith it is impossible to please YHWH!" If we walk after the feelings that are in our flesh and circumstances then we are only going to bring death into our situations.

Rom 8:4-8 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against YHWH: for it is not subject to the law of YHWH, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please YHWH.

As a believer, we cannot be satisfied to walk in the flesh realm, basing our lives on the "feelings" that surround us daily. We need to begin living in the Spiritual realm basing our word and actions only on the Word of YHWH! Only then can we be pleasing to YHWH. Only then can we bring life into each situation. Only then can we walk in victory, overcoming the wicked one in every situation! Let your words this day be faith filled words, words of victory and life. Stop walking according to the feelings and begin to walk by faith!

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Allegiance To YHWH

I received an email today that I wanted to put here in encapsulated form. I can't express the feelings any better, so I will just let it speak for itself...

Being a believer in YHWH [“THIS WAY“] IS NOT A RELIGION – IT IS A KINGDOM. THE KINGDOM IS WHAT YHWSHUA PREACHED. WHEN WE ALLOWED THOSE THAT WOULD KEEP US IN BONDAGE TO REDUCE “THIS WAY” TO A “RELIGION” WE WERE DEFEATED RIGHT THEN. THE KINGDOM HAS BEEN GROWING SINCE YHWSHUA PREACHED IT AND IS HERE AND AWAITING OUR ENTRANCE. IF WE ARE PRESENTLY WAITING A MOVEMENT OF YAHWEH WE ARE NOT IN THE PRESENT TRUTH. THE PRESENT TRUTH REGARDING WAITING ON YHWH IS 180 DEGREES AWAY. YHWH IS WAITING ON US.

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of YHWH is not in word, but in power.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

WE WILL NEED THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM! THEY ARE RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS. RIGHTEOUSNESS IS CONFORMITY TO THE DIVINE LAW AND; HOLINESS IS CONFORMITY TO THE DIVINE NATURE. WE MUST LEARN TO SPEAK THE WORDS OF THE KINGDOM AND SPEAK THEM IN THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF YHWSHUA The MESSIAH!!! NAME IT AND SO SHALL IT BE. HOW WILL WE DO THAT? BY FAITH!!!

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of YHWH, and their righteousness is of me, saith YHWH.

Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. This is our command, TO BRING heaven to Earth!! ...ONLY BE THOU STRONG AND COURAGEOUS... Let us today claim our allegiance to YHWH and HIS Reign!

ISRAELITE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

I pledge allegiance to the shed blood of YHWH our Messiah
Establishing The New Covenant of YHWH’s Kingdom on Earth
And to the promises of our Father, YHWH
One Nation under YHWH our Messiah
Indivisible, with judgment and mercy for all.

Backups

I installed a great new program today. It is basically a Personal Information Manager that tracks all that I do as well as all of my records. It is limited only by one's imagination. But the point that I like best about program is that it automatically creates a backup on a separate drive from the main program file. This way I can't lose my information that I have so diligently prepared. You probably know what I mean. You keep your work for 6 months or a year, and all of the sudden your computer goes down. Reinstalling windows causes you to lose much of your information. There goes all that work down the drain.

You know, our spiritual life is similar. Sometimes it seems like we take 3 steps forward and then the wicked one comes in like a flood and we are knocked 2 steps backward. Many have even said that they feel like they are on a spiritual "roller coaster". But YHWH is a good record keeper! In fact, everything that we do is on "record" in the Heavenly Realm unto the "Day of Judgement". What does this mean in our lives?

1 Cor 3:11-17 tells us:

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Yahushua the Messiah. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the temple of YHWH, and that the Spirit of YHWH dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of YHWH, him shall YHWH destroy; for the temple of YHWH is holy, which temple ye are.

It is clear that we will be judged for whatever we do in this life, either good or bad, after we accept the sacrifice of YHWSHUA. The records are being kept, and the backup is in place. What is it that we are doing with are lives? Are we laying up wood, hay, and stubble? Or are the things that we are doing preparing for us gold, silver, and precious stones? Let us "stive toward the mark of the High calling in YHWSHUA!" Remember that "you ARE the temple of YHWH." Let us be careful to do all that we do heartily as unto YHWH, and not unto man!

Walk in Truth....
David

Are You Hot?

As I was sitting here today I thought about how many people have been inundated with the heat this summer. We have had very warm temperatures in the 85-95 degree range throughout most of the summer. But there have even been parts of the US that have been much warmer even in the 100-115 degree range. As I thought about how hot it has been I recalled the verse in Revelation 3 where YHWSHUA said ...

"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

What about you my friend? Are you "fired up" for YHWH in your life? Is HE consuming your life like a fire? Or are you simply getting by... lukewarm, hardly accomplishing anything for the Reign of YHWH? My precious Brothers and Sisters, our time here on this earth is so short. And these are definitely the "last days" spoken of in The Scriptures. So let's get out of our lukewarm mentality and begin to live our lives "heartily as unto YHWH and not unto man!" Whatever we do, in every word, and in every action... let us promote the Reign of YHWH. "Let your light shine! You are the salt of the earth."

Shalom v' Ahavah...
David

Welcome

We have begun this blog to give the many precious people that visit our website a place to voice their thoughts, opinions, and ideas.
